Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist film maker, documentary journalist and TV host. Angela Sun was born on September 19, 1979 located in Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist and sportscaster as well as an actor. She received a Bachelor's Degree in sociology and communications at the University of California. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she was a part of several pro-am competitions. She was sponsored by big brands, such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Recognition she gained through this was a slingshot to propel her into the business of entertainment. In the future, she would go into the field of filmmaker, reporter for investigative reporting and sportscaster. Sun was an anchor for a variety of news outlets, but mostly as an anchor. She was the Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. In 2012, she was host of American Ninja Warrior with Matt Iseman as well as Jonny Moseley. Sun was the host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in the year 2014. She was the sole Asian-American to ever appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun was a part of a number of films and her abilities as an actress are lauded and acknowledged. Sun has acted in movies like Goliath 2016 (Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009), Street Kings (2008), Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004, and Shackled. In 2014, Sun came out with Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch an film of a feature length about the marine pollution caused by plastic and the impact it has on the ecosystem.
