Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28th in 1967. She is an American musician and actor. The career of Wuhrer began when she was still a teenager. Her most notable performances include Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders; and her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). There are three of her siblings. She sang in nightclubs as teens, sneaking out of the home to perform. In the year she turned 13 young, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School, then enrolled in drama studies at Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College; plus, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art along with the renowned professor Uta Hagen. Kari was introduced to acting at the age of 13, and she got her big break in 1987, when she was featured on MTV Remote Control.
